Texas · Public UCC filing search

Find the businesses already borrowing. Reach them first.

A prospecting workspace for commercial finance teams. It reads public Texas UCC financing statements, resolves each filing to a business and the people behind it, and keeps every call, note and next step on the record. Credit decisions, compliance determinations and onboarding stay in your own systems.

What it does

A search tool, not a decision engine.

Four steps, repeated all day: read the public record, work out who the borrower actually is, find a person you can reach, and keep the outreach history attached. Nothing here scores, approves, declines or onboards a borrower.

◎

Reads the public record

Texas UCC financing statements — debtor, secured party, county and recording date. Narrow to recent recordings and to the filing agents institutional lenders use.

⇄

Resolves the entity

Each filing is matched to one Texas business entity, with SOS status and address. Duplicates collapse by constraint rather than by someone eyeballing a spreadsheet.

✓

Finds a reachable owner

Owners and principals attached to the entity, each carrying its own consent and do-not-contact flag, so the opt-out travels with the person it belongs to.

≡

Keeps the work attached

One named owner per lead, versioned approach notes, and a full change history. Two people can work the same lead without silently overwriting each other.

The CRM

The list you actually work.

Accounts, contacts, opportunities, activities and tasks — attached to the search results rather than bolted beside them. One record, from the filing through to the call log.

◫

Accounts

Business entities with Texas SOS status, industry, and the filings that surfaced them. Deduplicated by a database constraint, not by matching in code.

☰

Contacts

Owners and principals, each carrying its own consent status and do-not-contact flag. The flag travels with the contact, so outreach cannot outrun it.

◈

Opportunities

One per account, moving through your stages. The stage is derived from an append-only log, never a mutable column, so the history is what it was.

≡

Activities

Calls, emails, SMS and meetings recorded against the record — with a logged approach and next step for every owner who touches it.

✓

Tasks & follow-ups

Next steps belong to a person. Nothing sits in an unowned queue, and nothing quietly goes stale.

↓

Handoff

Export a lead with its full history for the system that actually holds your files. The export is content-addressed, so the receiver can tell whether it was altered.

The workflow

From recording date to first call.

Each step leaves a timestamp and an owner. The point is that a colleague can pick up the lead tomorrow and see exactly what happened.

FILING_READ ENTITY_MATCHED CONTACT_FOUND OWNER_ASSIGNED OUTREACH_LOGGED MEETING_BOOKED HANDED_OFF

Outreach is logged, not scripted. A decision to lend, decline or take on a borrower happens in your loan origination system under your own policies — this tool has no part in it, and records nothing about it.

Data handling

Least privilege, end to end.

Data stores are unreachable except through an authenticated session to a host we control. Every change to a lead is written once and never rewritten.
